Rajeswari Anaparthy, MD

Dr. Rajeswari Anaparthy is a dedicated and compassionate gastroenterologist who has proudly served the Avondale, Arizona community since 2017. Known for her clinical excellence and heartfelt approach to care, Dr. Anaparthy has built a thriving practice grounded in traditional family values, where every patient is treated with respect, empathy, and personalized attention.

Originally from India, Dr. Anaparthy graduated at the top of her medical school class before moving to the United States to pursue advanced medical training. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, followed by a position as a hospitalist at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Her passion for digestive health led her to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Kansas in Kansas City.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Anaparthy is an accomplished researcher with over multiple original publications . While she values academic advancement, her true calling lies in building a practice that prioritizes lasting relationships and meaningful impact within her community.

Niel Dave, MD

Dr. Niel Dave is a California born multi specialty physician who is currently practicing in Sunny Avondale, Arizona. He underwent training at New York Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Hospital in Brooklyn and further training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Obesity in Miami, Florida.

He focuses his practice on general gastroenterology, hepatology, food science, nutrition, obesity, and gut health. He aims to get his patients off of medications and in control of their own medical conditions. In his off time Dr. Dave likes to travel, ski, hike and cook.

He then pursued residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, followed by a Gastroenterology fellowship at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. To further hone his expertise, he completed advanced endoscopy training at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He is published more than 30 original articles must contribute to multiple books chapters in the field of gastroenterology.

With a deep commitment to excellence in patient care, Dr. Aravind Sugumar is driven by a passion for solving complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary problems. His practice is grounded in the principle that the needs of the patient come first, guiding every diagnostic and therapeutic decision.

He likes analyzing financial markets, studying aviation history and hiking. His biggest enjoyment is spending time with his family and being a part of all his kids activities.

Angela Morrone, a dedicated Arizona native and board-certified Nurse Practitioner, brings a wealth of diverse healthcare experience to Southwest Gastroenterology. Her journey began with service in the fire department, followed by critical care nursing in the ICU, before transitioning to advanced practice. Angela’s clinical expertise spans Neurosurgery and Trauma Surgery, culminating in her specialization in Gastroenterology. Driven by a passion for continuous learning and patient-centered care, Angela is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate gastroenterological services.
Beyond her professional dedication, Angela cherishes her role as a mother to a teenage daughter and enjoys an active lifestyle. She’s an avid hiker, frequently exploring the scenic trails of Sedona and Flagstaff. Family time is paramount, and she’s a regular at her daughter’s volleyball tournaments.
